KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The SBU Bearcats have placed three players on the All-MIAA baseball team.
 
Brad Mountjoy (OF, 6-0, 190, Jr., Blue Springs, Mo.) was named to the second team. Mountjoy was SBU's leading hitter this season with a .384 average. He had 34 RBIs and a team-high slugging average of .609.
 
Justin Barnhart (UT, 5-11, 170, So., St. Charles, Mo.) was named to the second team. Barnhart batted .342 on the season, which included 17 doubles. Barnhart led the team in steals with 10.
 
Chris Martinez (1B, 6-0, 195, Sr., Littleton, Colo.) was named as an Honorable Mention selection. Martinez batted .354, and led the team in hits with 56. He also led the Bearcats in RBIs with 37.
