BOLIVAR, Mo. — SBU's head basketball coach, Jeff Guiot, has announced that Brandon Clemons will attend SBU and play for the Bearcats in the fall of 2008.

Clemons is a 6-3 guard who will transfer from Chaffey Community College, which is the same junior college as former SBU standout, Sheldon Pace.

"Brandon is very quick and strong, which is a deadly combination," said SBU's head basketball coach, Jeff Guiot. "He is an impact player, who has the speed and strength much like Sheldon had. We believe Brandon will be an outstanding player for us."

Last season, Clemons averaged 12.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game at Chaffey.

The season before, Clemons averaged 13.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game at Barstow Community College.
