Bearcats Fall Twice at Southern

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcats lost twice at Missouri Southern, 8-13 and 7-14.

SBU scored 8 runs in game one's losing effort, led by Brad Mountjoy's 4 for 5 performance. Mountjoy scored three times and knocked in two runs. He is hitting a team-high .425. Jason Asher and Justin Barnhart added three hits each.

Asher, Mountjoy, Barnhart, and Chris Martinez had two hits each in game two's 7-14 loss.
