ATLANTA, Ga. -- SBU's Erika Souza has been named as one of 40 finalists for the 10-member State Farm Coaches' All-America Team.

Souza, a 5-6 product of Sao Paulo, Brazil, has averaged a team-high 19.1 points per game (third in the MIAA) and a league-best 4.77 assists per game. She has posted eight games in 2007-08 in which she's scored at least 20 points and dished out five assists or more.

They are among 40 finalists now eligible for selection to the 10-member All-America Team, which will be announced at the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Banquet on March 25 at the University of Nebraska-Kearney in Kearney, Neb.
