Baseball 'Cats Open at Arkansas Tech

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- The SBU Bearcats opened their season at Arkansas Tech, dropping both ends of a double-header.

SBU took a 1-0 lead in their season opener, and scored twice in the 5th inning to tie the score at 3 runs each, but eventually lost to the Wonderboys, 11-4. SBU's Justin Barnhart had three hits in the losing cause.

In game two, Barnhart managed the only Bearcat hit in a 14-0 loss.

SBU next games are scheduled for 2/22, in Bolivar, against Minnesota State - Mankato.
