KANSAS CITY, MO -- Two Lady Bearcats, senior Chelsea Kenney and junior Shyrah Perry, have made the All-MIAA volleyball team as honorable mention selections.

Kenney is from Stockton, MO. She led the MIAA with nine 'triple doubles' this season. She ended the year with 710 assists. Head coach Kelly Richardson commented on Kenney's award: "Chelsea had a great year for us with great stats on the court and great leadership off the court. She led all year by example."

Perry, from Fair Grove, MO, logged 620 digs for the Lady 'Cats. Her spectacular work did not go unnoticed by Coach Richardson. "Shyrah worked so hard during the off-season. She improved so much and I'm proud of her progress. It was obvious to the other coaches as well."

SBU finished the season with 8 wins, which were the most since 2002.
