BOLIVAR, MO – The SBU Lady Bearcats lost to #24 University of West Florida in three straight games, 30-22, 30-15, 30-26.

Tonight was a non-conference match.

Brittni Jessen had 8 kills, Chelsea Kenney logged 10 assists and 13 digs to lead SBU’s offense.

Coach Kelly Richardson commented: “Very proud of the way we fought in game 3. We need to find that consistency for an entire match.”

With the loss, SBU falls to 8-17 on the season, remaining 2-7 in the MIAA.

SBU returns to conference action tomorrow (10-13-07) with a Saturday afternoon match against Truman State.
