Bearcat golf takes second at Upper Iowa Spring Invite

IOWA CITY, Iowa --
The SBU golf team took second this weekend at the Upper Iowa Spring
Invite at the Finkbine Golf Course. The Bearcats were just two strokes
back of Bemidji State, which won the event with a two round score of
621 (305/316).

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. -- The SBU golf team opened their 2009 spring season at the 59th annual Southern California Intercollegiate
Championship at the Mission Viejo Country Club in California. Junior
Brad Nipper posted the Bearcats' best score, with a three round total
of 241. Freshman Bryan Steele was close behind at 243.
