Located: Bolivar, Missouri, population 10,000; 25 miles north of Springfield, MO
FAST FACT: SBU College of Business and Computer Science (COBACS) achieve HIGHEST ranking possible, 95th Percentile, on Spring 2008 and 2009 NATIONAL Business Assessment Exam. Over 80,000 college business graduates take the exam each spring, and SBU COBACS seniors have scored at almost the 90th percentile for the previous eight exams. Among SBU test-takers for 2009, ACC majors earned nine of the top 11 SBU scores. Other Missouri Schools taking this exam include: Drury University, Truman State University, Missouri State University, University of Central Missouri, University of Missouri - St. Louis, University of Missouri - Kansas City, and national schools like Oklahoma State University, University of Nebraska and University of Indiana.

| Despite very tough economic conditions, all of the May, 2009 class are "doing their thing" after graduation. Nine have accepted full-time accounting-related positions, two are graduate assistants in master's programs, and one is trying to land a spot in European professional basketball. | |

All of these 2008 SBU Accounting graduates were employed in accounting-related jobs before receiving their diplomas (from Missouri to Arkansas to Illinois to Texas to Arizona and even Switzerland.
