Accountants Are In Demand!

Spring 2008 report shows Accounting grads are highly sought by employers.

This article explains WHY accountants are in demand.

THE "BEAT GOES ON and on and on..."--- latest NACE 2007 survey of employers shows Accounting graduates are still number one!

UPDATE: Latest NACE survey shows ACCOUNTANTS still needed

The JOB OUTLOOK report for 2006 recently published by NACE showed Accounting as the TOP undergraduate major in demand by employers for the United States "Service Sector" (the fastest growing part of the US economy).  Additionally, Accounting was the top undergraduate "in demand" major in the Midwest.

A late 2004 survey of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) indicated Accounting was the TOP major in demand by surveyed employers.  Accounting has traditionally been a very stable career, and with businesses and governmental organizations growing worldwide, demand for new and experienced accountants (especially CPAs) has never been stronger.  Issues of financial reporting, business expansion, auditing, international accounting, taxation, financial planning, and fraud investigation get more complex each year, so this provides a steady and growing demand for accounting-educated financial professionals.
