SBU Accounting Major Wins ASWA Scholarship
Toni Wade, junior SBU Accounting major from Licking, Missouri was recently
honored as a scholarship winner by the Ozarks Chapter of the American Society
of Women Accountants (ASWA). ASWA is a
non-profit organization whose mission is to enable women in all accounting and
related fields to achieve their full personal, professional, and economic
potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.

Toni transferred to SBU following the completion of her
associate’s degree at Moberly
Area Community
College.
She is scheduled to graduate in May, 2007 and will be immediately
eligible to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam because she will
have earned her accounting degree and the required 150 hours of college credit.
Toni works at Commerce Bank in Bolivar, MO and is
currently completing a certified teller training program.
