Southwest Baptist University is a Christ-centered, caring academic community preparing students to be servant leaders in a global society.
Our faculty is respected for academic excellence, but they are loved for the personal attention they give their students. They are committed to helping you grow mentally and spiritually. Our staff supports the faculty in serving the University. Faculty and staff work together to make the SBU mission statement real and often join students on mission trips to spread the gospel throughout the local community and the world.
At SBU, you will be challenged and encouraged by our community as you learn to integrate knowledge, character, and faith into your everyday life. When you graduate, your rigorous classroom experience and extracurricular activities will have prepared you to take on leadership roles that are awaiting your special combination of intelligence and passion for service.
