Strut Your Stuff: FBLA teams from around the Springfield area participate in a marketing competition in which they are required to come up with a marketing campaign for a certain product or business. They must include a radio spot, a direct mail piece, and a TV commercial in their campaign.

Skills for Success Seminar: This seminar is open to community members and to SBU students. The first night of the seminar will focus on networking, job searching, interviewing, resume writing, and thank-you letter writing. On the second night of the seminar SIFE members will assist participants in critiquing their resumes and will facilitate a speed- interviewing session.

Computer Training: SIFE members team up with FBLA members from Bolivar High School to teach elderly people basic computer skills such as e-mail, word processing, and the use of peripherals.

Budgeting Seminar: Community members and SBU students from all colleges are invited to come and learn how to construct a budget, use a budget, save money, and plan for a healthy financial present and future.
