BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University’s Director of Web Services Shelly Brown recently was elected to serve on the board for the Higher Education Web Professionals Association (HighEdWeb), an international association based in Rochester, New York.

BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University’s Staff Council celebrated its first year as a group made up of each of the 150 staff members of the University. This historic, first-ever SBU Staff Council is governed by a board of directors that is comprised of officers forming the executive board and representatives for small groups of staff members. The group announced its 2008 board and its officers during an all-staff meeting today.

Kacey Baugh has been named as an admissions counselor for Southwest Baptist University. Baugh will be responsible for recruiting the southwest Missouri area and will be assisting prospective students with the college application process.

BOLIVAR, MO –After many months of designing and administering surveys, meeting with staff members, drafting by-laws, debating structure and purpose, a staff task force at Southwest Baptist University has turned the reins over to a newly created Staff Council, a group made up of each of the 150 staff members of the University.
SBU Web Director Now Dreamweaver 8 Certified

BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University announced that Shelly Brown, Director of Web Services, recently passed the Certified Dreamweaver 8 Developer exam. Brown is the only person in the state of Missouri that is certified in Dreamweaver 8.
