Kacey Baugh has been named as an admissions counselor for Southwest Baptist University. Baugh will be responsible for recruiting the southwest Missouri area and will be assisting prospective students with the college application process.

“I’m really excited about having Kacey as a part of or staff. We would like to welcome her to the team, and I know she will do a great job bringing in students from the southwest Missouri area,” said Darren Crowder, director of admissions at SBU.

A native of Carthage, Mo., Baugh received her bachelor of science degree in commercial music in May 2003 from SBU. While attending SBU, she was active in Concert Choir, Chorale, Disciple Now and participated in mission trips. She also studied abroad spending one semester at Oxford University in fall 2000, and another semester at the University of Leicester, England in summer 2002. Recently, Baugh served as a resident director for Leslie Hall on the SBU campus.
