BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University’s Director of Web Services Shelly Brown recently was elected to serve on the board for the Higher Education Web Professionals Association (HighEdWeb), an international association based in Rochester, New York.

Brown also presented for the 2007 HighEdWeb conference held in Rochester this past October. The title of her presentation was, “Animate Responsibly,” in which she discussed techniques on how to create Flash animation that meets the W3C guidelines for accessibility.

In addition, Brown is Missouri Liaison on the Conference Committee for the HighEdWeb 2008 Conference that will be held in Springfield, Missouri, at Missouri State University on October 6-8, 2008.
