BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University awarded three honorary doctorates at a formal Founders' Day program held March 26 in Pike Auditorium. Honorary doctorate recipients were Phillip Franz, Gary Longenecker, and Gary Black.

BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University Libraries’ “Meet the Author Series” will feature SBU graduate Dr. Jeff Brown ’92, instructor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 27. Dr. Brown will be discussing his book, The Competitive Edge: How to Win Every Time You Compete, at the event in Hutchens Library in Jester Learning Center on the Bolivar campus.
