Valentine’s Day Gift Order Form
The SBU Parents Connection would like to invite you to participate in the 11th annual Valentine’s Day fund- raising event. This event gives you the opportunity to send your SBU son or daughter a great Valentines gift! This gift will include an 18” Mylar balloon anchored by a bundle of candy. It’s a great way to surprise your student and remind them that they are loved.
Where do the funds go? Most recently, Parents Connection was able to assist in funding a campus wide education project. The project was a visual arts display set up in the Goodson Student Union. The display provided a venue that stirred students to contemplate our Creator, His creation, and humanities roll within creation. In addition, funds have historically served students who are experiencing a crisis situation. This emergency fund has helped many students continue with school when life’s circumstance proved difficult.
Parents Connection serves as a liaison between SBU parents and the University. Many new and exciting things are changing about Parents Connection. For example, dues are no longer being collected, and fund-raisers are being established as a replacement effort. However, the goal remains the same. To unite student, parent, and the SBU staff to serve, develop, and mature your child toward success.
