Educational Background: Dr. Smashey Jones earned a Bachelor of Music degree at Southwest Baptist University; and Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Piano Performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.
Professional activities: Dr. Smashey Jones is active as a piano soloist and accompanist, and maintains a private studio of pre-college piano students. She is the pianist for the Springfield Symphony Orchestra in Springfield, Missouri.
Church activities: Dr. Smashey Jones attends University Heights Baptist Church, Springfield, Missouri, where she serves as pianist.
