October 24, 2005 - I have had such an amazing time these past few weeks in the village. Steph and I have decided that we are going to minimize our time outside of the village. It has become difficult for us to pull away from the people for very long. Every time we leave it is a reminder to the people that our time here is short

October 5, 2005 - The day is finally here that I can communicate with you all.  There is so much that I wish to share with you.  I will try not to overwhelm you with tons of extra reading, but it is amazing what the Lord has done in the past month within the lives of the people in the village. 

August 31, 2005 -  Okay, well it is not actually raining at this moment, but in our new mountain home it rains every evening at about 2:00.  If they used watches they could set their watch by it.  Due to this rain it is very muddy, and let me tell you that makes for some pretty interesting trips to the water hole. 

August 22, 2005 - Today is a Lovely Monday Morning, and I have spent three wonderful days of rest, with a little of paper writing mixed in. Before these three days I was extremely worn down from traveling and village living. We have traveled all over Southern Mindano and learned much about community development.

August 13, 2005 - I want to thank you for being patient with me in my communication to you.  It has been difficult this past month to communicate.

July 29, 2005 - Hello to all.  It has been a very eventful week.  I have moved out of my home stay, taken my language proficiency test, said goodbye to all of my friends in Bancasi

July 20, 2005 - The beach was a lot of fun.  It was extremely dirty, but the company was great.

July 19, 2005 - New Experiences!!!! Today I will try a balout.  You might have seen them on Fear Factor.  They are baby chickens still in the eggs.  You eat them bones, feathers and all.  All of my friends are really excited, especially Jib and MaeMae. 

July 12, 2005 - I have now been in the Philippines for three weeks.

July 7, 2005 - I hope that this e-mail finds all of you in good spirits. The Father has shown his grace so much to Stephanie and me.

July 1, 2005 - It feels like it has been forever since I last contacted all of you.  After I got my bags (almost a week late) I settled down quite nicely into our new home. 

June 14, 2005 - Philippines Here I Am! After finding out at 2:30 am that I was to leave, and that arrangements for a hotel in Manila had to be made, Stephanie and I scurried around calling each other and travel agents.
