Dear Friends and Family,

How is everyone doing? I am doing well. Julianne and I are house sitting for some m's, so we have our own apartment right now.  It is nice, because we also have a dog to take care of. He is so cute and his name is Samson; he is a lot of fun.

Well, right now we are getting ready for the holidays. We are going to have a lot of our friends over tomorrow night for a little Christmas party. On Saturday our church is having a special dinner and show, then on Sunday we will be with Bob and Peggy. It will be hard for me to be away from my family, but my friends are like family here, so hopefully that won't be too hard for me.

We found out yesterday that our friend, Gabriel, had his appendix removed on Tuesday night. He is doing well, and went home today. Please pray that he has a fast recovery and is able to enjoy the holiday season.

I have been helping with a church plant in Pisuli (a section of Quito) for the past few weeks. This last Saturday we had 45 children and 30 adults. We had a great time last week. Arturo (the pastor of our church) did a Bible study with the adults, and some of us played games, did puppets and sang songs with the kids. It was a lot of fun. They are planning to have this house church meet every Saturday, so please pray that everything goes well, and that more and more people will come to know the Lord. I probably will not be able to help out anymore before we come home, but I hope everything continues to go well.

Next week, for our birthdays, Juli and I are taking a few days to go to the beach with some of our friends. Pray that we will have a safe trip. Also, one of the guys going is not a Christian, so pray that we will be able to share with him, and that God will open up his heart to accept Jesus.

Well, I cannot think of anything else right now. Because of the holidays, things are going a little slow. Pray that we will have a good holiday season, because we are away from our families. I hope that you all have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Feliz Navidad,

Caitlyn
