Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop a quick email and let you know that Karena and I made it home safe and sound on Tuesday! Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers. Our final weeks went by pretty fast. We wrote a 37-page paper over the culture for one of our professors and finished some other projects. To finish up our language study, Karena and I wrote out our testimonies and asked our language helper to translate them for us so we could learn them. We learned how to make one of our favorite traditional foods from our homestay mom and also from our friend’s mom. We tried to spend time with each of our friends before leaving, and we also invited the girls we knew over to our apartment for a going-away dinner one evening. It was sad to say goodbye to the friends we made, and especially to our supervisors and Olga. I was really excited to get home for Thanksgiving and eat turkey though! Overall, it was a great experience and the Lord taught me so much. Thank you again for all your prayers and support- they were and are essential to the Father’s work. 1 Corinthians 12:27 says, “All of you together are Dad's body, and each of you is a part of it.” I hope that you will continue to pray for the unreached people of South Asia and for the workers who are giving their lives by living and ministering there. Matthew 9:37-38- “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Father who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” Blessings, Steph
