 Well HEY everybody!

I have some more exciting news for this update! PA’s mom went to the hospital in Ubon, and we were pr’ing specifically that they would not find cancer. Well, guess what? NO CANCER! She still has liver problems, but it is not cancer! I am so excited! Keep her in your pr’s though, Pa still asks me everyday if I pr’ for her.

We have also been able to develop some friendships with girls around our age. The first is Raem, I think I might have mentioned her in my last update. She works in Sisaket at a little coffee place. She is there every time we go, and one day we ended up sitting and talking for a couple hours. She is from Cambodia and moved here with her sister 3 years ago. She is 18, and such a fun and hilarious girl. We gave her a tract too, and she promptly showed us her book of Mormon. We were a little discouraged by that. Anyway, we have made it a weekly “date” to go drink coffee with her, and have really started to build a friendship. The last time we went the Mormon missionaries showed up too. We found out that Raem does go to the Mormon church and actually even lives with a member of the church. Please keep her, and us, in your Pr’s.

The other girl is Ann, 24, who runs the little hair shop in the village. (speaking of which, I got a thai haircut from her) She is only here because her grandma is sick, and she has to take care of her. She is from a bigger city quite a ways away, where her family still is. She is very lonely, and told us she really didn’t have any friends here. We told her that we would love to be her friend, and invited her to come to our house anytime. Well, a few days later she did! I was so excited. Well, to make a long story short we ended up hanging out with her all day, and Amy got to have a really good conversation with her. We are pretty sure she is already a Christian, but she has just had zero discipleship. She doesn’t go to the temple, but she has no Book, and has not been taught anything really. So, we gave her a Book, and Amy told her some stuff to read and they are going to talk about it when we get back. She was super excited. Please keep Ann in your Pr’s too!

I think that’s all for now.
Keep Pr’ing for Ban Tum and the Kui people. Dad is at work!

Love always,
Naomi
