Special Notice: In order to best facilitate the LMS transition from ANGEL to Blackboard Learn there will be a couple temporary adjustments to the Online Independent Study (OLIS) program.

First, enrollments processed after 10/30/14 will no longer have the option of a two month extension; courses will have to be completed in the standard four month time frame. The two month extension option will go back into effect 6/1/15.

Second, OLIS new course enrollment will be closed starting 1/29/15. New enrollments will be accepted again on 5/1/15, for the summer term beginning 6/1/15. Web-Based Courses - These courses are self-paced, online independent study in format. The Online Independent Study office will e-mail you as to the course URL, your user ID, and a password. Once you log into the course, you find information designed to help you complete the course. Most of your interaction with the instructor is electronic messaging, though a few courses require some items to be sent to the instructor via the U.S. Postal Service.
