About: Mrs. Godsey has a strong dedication to achieving excellence. Whether in being a wife, a teacher, a scholar, or a friend, excellence is the standard in serving God and others. Since middle school, Godsey has been part of the speech forensics community. Godsey continues her commitment to this program in assisting the Director of Speech Forensics and Debate, Dr. Bailey, at SBU. While Godsey takes school very seriously, she enjoys taking on challenges outside of academics. Currently she is making attempts in the kitchen and in the gym with her husband, Andrew.
Both Godsey and her husband have a passion for teaching. He currently teaches as a social studies teacher at Purdy High School. Belle, her darling pup, was rescued in 2010 and has lived a very spoiled life with them since then.
