Admission Policy, ASR Program
Associate of Science in Radiology
In addition to admission to the university, all lower division degree-seeking students must formally apply for admission to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences undergraduate ASR degree program. Applicants must complete the following for acceptance into the ASR degree program.
ASR Radiography Program
- New ASR students must first apply to SBU Online – or print and complete the SBU university application.
- Submit a completed ASR Application for the ASR Program.
Print, complete and return the application(s) and all documents listed on the application to:

Students Applying to the ASR Program
- Complete the ASR Program Checklist.
- Complete an application for the ASR Program. Applicants who have applied to the ASR program in the past but were not selected and wish to be considered again for admission must reapply to the ASR program.
- Attend an information meeting about the admission requirements at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at 4431 S. Fremont in Springfield. These meetings are open and do not require a reservation. The information meetings are now held:
- 2nd Tuesday 3:00 p.m.
- 3rd Wednesday 2:00 p.m.
- 4th Thursday 3:00 p.m.
Application Deadline
ASR program application deadline is February 1st of the same year. Only one class per year is accepted into the program with the start date in the summer (July)
