Why did you choose to teach at SBU? “After we sold our company to Alltel, I didn’t want to have to move our family. My father was retiring as a long-time accounting professor at SBU and I was able to begin teaching when he retired."
What sets SBU apart from other universities? “We have a very personalized approach in attracting students, teaching students, advising students and motivating them to career success.”
What advice do you have for prospective students? “Work hard, always do your best, plan ahead (but be flexible) and have fun.”
What is your favorite thing to do in Bolivar/Southwest Missouri? Clark enjoys spending time with his family, following the Kansas City Royals and motivating the SBU Accounting students to achieve their goals.
