Master of Science in Educational Administration
SBU offers a Master of Science in Educational Administration specifically designed to prepare students for leadership roles at the building level. This 38-hour degree program leads to initial K-12 principal certification.
The program has been developed in accordance with certification requirements established by the State Board of Education of the State of Missouri. Hence, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) as well as the NCA Higher Learning Commission have approved the educational administration program. Following successful completion of the approved program and the national test, students will receive certification as a building level administrator.
