Preface to Web Site

This web site is designed primarily for the faculty and students of Southwest Baptist University and for students planning to enter SBU. It contains information pertaining specifically to the University's College Credit Through Correspondence program. It does not contain the following: specific objectives of the University; outlines of the programs of study; admission and graduation requirements; or information regarding costs, living conditions, scholarships, counseling services and student life. Such information may be found in the 2008-2009 general University academic catalog.

This web site (catalog 0809A) is a description of the College Credit Through Correspondence program and is a working agreement between a student and the University. A student is responsible for being fully aware of and fulfilling all regulations and conditions contained or referred to herein or as such regulations and conditions may hereafter be amended by the University if and when it deems necessary. As conditions of admission, the University reserves the right and power to discipline or dismiss any student who fails to comply with said regulations and conditions, and each student agrees that the University shall have such right and power of discipline or dismissal. Copy for the printed catalog issue were prepared as of June 1, 2008.

The CCTC web site was prepared as of June 1, 2008 and is updated periodically. Information about expenses, fees, policies, and course offerings apply to the year 2008-2009. The University reserves the right to change fees or other charges, add or delete courses, revise academic programs, or alter regulations and requirements as deemed necessary. All course tuition, fees, book fees, and course offerings are subject to change without notice. The University will charge tuition, fees and enforce policies currently in effect. NOTE: Please refer to printed addenda sheets or web site for price and course changes or contact the Assistant Director of Extended Learning.

Southwest Baptist University is approved for the training of veterans and the dependents of veterans under Title 38, U.S. Code.
