Courses Taught: Sophomore Seminar, Human Sexuality, Dealing With Death and Dying, and Marriage & Family Counseling.

Why do you enjoy teaching at SBU? " I enjoy the sense of comradarie among the faculty within the Behavioral Sciences Department and across the colleges. I am also glad for the fact that at SBU I can have genuine relationships with students.

Faith Dedications: Chris and his wife taught a Sunday School class for young married adults at Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. We have only visited two churches in Bolivar, so we don't have a commitment or dedication to a local church at this time.

Educational and Professional Background: Chris received a Master's Degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2002. Currently, he is a PhD Candidate at SWBTS, pending the completion of a dissertation. While at SWBTS, he was appointed a Teaching Fellow and taught in the Marriage and Family Counseling degree program. For the past three years, Chris counseled couples, families, and individuals at Southcliff Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
