Dr. Bob Derryberry

Dr. Bob Derryberry Forensic Chair

The late Dr. Bob R. Derryberry has left an indelible mark on the minds and hearts of thousands of SBU “young scholars” as well as his former colleagues at SBU. Dr. Derryberry was a part of the SBU family for 46 years as a faculty member, department chair and director of forensics. During that time, Dr. Derryberry led the forensic team to 11 PKD National Championships. As a University we want to ensure that Dr. Derryberry’s legacy remains remembered and honored. An endowed academic chair is one of the highest honors in academia. We would like to honor Dr. Derryberry’s memory by establishing a $250,000 endowed academic chair. Please consider how you will participate in this very important project. 3% raised.
